Emma Strand
I can’t seem to stay at LMU. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love the school and living by the California beaches since I’m from Seattle, but there’s something about the adrenaline rush of traveling. When I was little I made a general life-long bucket list for a school project. As I watched it keep growing with cities across the world and goals I wanted to accomplish, I felt a sense of urgency. One lifetime just doesn’t seem like enough to experience all this world has to offer.

Melissa Martinez
As a first to go student who lived a sheltered life, traveling, especially internationally, had always been a dream of mine. I finally got a chance to live that dream with the First to Go: Argentina trip in the summer of 2015. I decided to go because I knew it would be with people I had something in common with.
